Brian Beyer assumed progressively more complex and demanding operational and policy development roles in the staffing environment spanning a period in excess of 30 years. He conducted all phases of Federal Public Service internal and external recruitment, selection appointment and post appointments as well as Behavioural Event Interviewing and Behavioural-based Structured Reference Checking. During his career in the Public Service, he served as the main staffing and recruitment contact at the Public Service Commission for several federal departments, the primary being Agriculture Canada. During this time, Mr. Beyer became thoroughly familiar with all aspects of the recruitment and referral process as well as the Appeal process. Specific Experience of Brian Beyer with ES/EC Staffing over the period 1976-2010:

Agriculture Canada

Provided counsel and support to several Directors General, Directors and their support staff regarding all aspects of SE-RES, ES, SI and EG recruitment, referral and staffing issues. The work included the development and approval of Statements of Qualifications, Questions and Answers, recruitment posters, interviews and letters of offer as well as drafting rationales for recruiting non-Canadians and producing final texts acceptable to all.  Since this work was conducted in the mid to late 1970s and continuing into the early 1980s, most if not all of my references have retired, however at the time, my reputation was stellar to the point of being offered a position with their Human Resources organization.
